Dr. Zeinab Mirza is a university lecturer, political adviser, and commentator with a doctorate from Sorbonne du Nord, Paris. Since 2003, she has taught Political Science, International Relations, International Political Economy, Diplomacy, Human Rights, and Public Relations at the American University of Beirut, Lebanese American University, and American University of Science and Technology. She also promotes student internships and advises AUB’s Model United Nations Club (AUBMUN), which has won numerous awards.

As a political advisor, Dr. Mirza supported the Chair of the International Affairs Committee at the Lebanese Parliament and coordinated initiatives between the Parliament, AUB, and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. This collaboration led to the publication of Policy Making and the Lebanese Parliament (2020).

She has co-authored another book chapter, spoken at international forums, and has been interviewed by various TV programs. Her extensive public relations work spans diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, international NGOs, human rights groups, election monitoring agencies, and cultural activism. Active on social media, Dr. Mirza also owns the charity-based jewelry brand A New York Affair.
