Thuraya Ismail is a humanitarian and social work specialist with a Master’s in International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut (AUB). With over 17 years of experience in human and social development—especially children and youth empowerment—she has worked with the UNDP, the League of Arab States, and as Executive Director of Mentor Arabia Foundation.

Through her regional and international experience in strategic planning, policy development, and capacity building, she has influenced thousands of young people towards positive behaviors and healthy lifestyles.

Thuraya is the first Arab specialist to win the European Union’s “Leading Practitioner Honor” award, serving as an inspiration to youth worldwide. She has also published extensively in social development and international affairs.
