RAWYA MANSOUR
Outstanding Arab Woman – 2025
From the world of design to the fields of sustainable innovation, Rawya Mansour
has built her journey on creativity, conviction, and compassion. An Egyptian
entrepreneur with a vision for change, she began her career by founding Ramsco
for Architecture and Interior Design in 1999, later expanding into Ramsco Trading
and Distribution in 2007, and establishing Oasis Technologies Monaco in 2012.
What began as a design venture soon evolved into a lifelong mission to transform
environmental challenges into opportunities for empowerment. Through her
pioneering biochar technology, Mansour has revolutionized agricultural waste
recycling, converting waste into renewable energy and fertile soil. Her innovations
not only combat pollution but also uplift rural women by turning sustainability into
a source of dignity and livelihood. Her projects, including zero-waste eco-villages
and circular economy initiatives across Africa and the Arab world, stand as proof
that green entrepreneurship can drive both progress and compassion.
A member of the Council of Arab Businesswomen, the Earth Institute at Columbia
University, and Egypt’s National Council for Women, Mansour has received global
recognition for her leadership and impact. She was named African Female Leader
of the Year, featured on Forbes Middle East’s 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen
(2023), and became the first Egyptian woman to join Monaco’s Planetary Health
Pledge Club.
Today, Rawya Mansour continues to redefine sustainability with purpose, a story
where innovation grows from the roots of empathy, resilience, and an unshakable
belief in a better world.
