KHALID AL-KHUDAIR - KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA
Khalid Al-Khudair is the Founder and CEO of Glowork, an organization dedicated to empowering Saudi women by connecting them with employment opportunities. Since its founding in 2011, Glowork has facilitated over 6,000 job placements for women and aims to secure 50,000 more in the next five years. Recognized by the UN, the International Labour Organization, and the World Bank for its contributions to female empowerment, Glowork received a $16 million investment in 2013 to expand its operations.
Al-Khudair began his career at Deutsche Gulf Finance after earning his degree and later became COO of Markets at KPMG in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan. The challenges his sister faced entering the Saudi job market inspired him to launch Glowork, the region’s first dedicated platform for female recruitment. His achievements have earned him numerous accolades, including the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award from the Global Thinkers Forum, Saint Mary’s University Young Alumni of the Year, and recognition as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014.
He has been ranked among the top 500 Most Powerful Arabs by Arabian Business and named third most influential youth in the Gulf by Gulf Business Magazine. Al-Khudair is also a published author of Communicating Effectively in the Workplace. In 2021, he was appointed Secretary-General of the Media and Banking Awareness Committee for Saudi Banks.
