Ghanim Bin Saad Al Saad is a leading Qatari businessman, recognized for his influential role in expanding Qatar’s private sector through his company, GSSG Holdings. This enterprise operates over 30 companies globally in diverse sectors including real estate, financial investment, aviation, IT, and education. Ghanim also serves as a Personal Adviser to the Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al-Thani, contributing to strategic investments across the UK, Europe, Russia, and South America for Qatar’s Sovereign Fund.

Ghanim’s career began with the Ministry of Justice, followed by the Supreme Council for Planning, before becoming a Director at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in 1998. He founded his first business venture, The Jersey Group, which laid the foundation for GSSG Holdings. In 2005, he was appointed Chairman and Managing Director of Barwa Real Estate, Qatar’s largest real estate entity, with assets of US$17.9 billion. He later became Managing Director of Qatari Diar, Qatar’s real estate arm capitalized at US$1 billion.

As Chairman of Qatar Charity, Al-Imtiaz Investment in Kuwait, and his own GSSG Holdings, he also oversees the Taalum Group for education and RizonJet aviation. Ghanim holds a BA in Social Sciences from Qatar University, a Master’s in Social Policy & Administration from Kent University, UK, and a Ph.D. from Greenwich University, London. His philanthropic efforts are focused on advancing education and supporting humanitarian causes locally and globally.
