ANTOINE KALLAB - LEBANON

Antoine Kallab is the Associate Director of the Nature Conservation Center at the American University of Beirut (AUB-NCC), where he oversees strategic initiatives, project management, and global partnerships, while leading a team of researchers. He represents AUB-NCC in the 3RF Civil Society Consultative Group, organized by the EU, UN, and World Bank, and is a regular participant in workshops on policy, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Alongside his role at AUB, Kallab consults for UN agencies on labor market assessments, gender strategy, and development policies. Previously, he coordinated the Beirut Urban Observatory at AUB’s Beirut Urban Lab, focusing on the socio-economic impact of the Beirut Port Explosion. In 2018, he co-founded “LebanonTalks,” an international platform engaging the Lebanese diaspora in discussions on policy and governance.

Antoine holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture from the Ecole Spéciale D’Architecture de Paris, an MSc in Urban Economic Development from University College London, a Master’s in Geopolitics from IRIS Sup’ Paris, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Université Bretagne Occidentale. His expertise spans urban economic development, governance, and public policy, with significant skills in project management and strategic planning. Fluent in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish, he has lived in Lebanon, France, the UK, the US, Vietnam, and Peru.
