Alissar Nasr - Lebanon

Alissar Nasr is the Chief Academic Officer at AMSI (Academia Management Solutions International), where she oversees curriculum development, assessment, and student support across Al Mawakeb Schools in Dubai. With over 30 years of experience in academic planning and school operations, she has played a central role in strategic initiatives, including curriculum digitization, leadership training, student assessment systems, academic publishing, and international accreditation.

Ms. Nasr began her career in education as a Mathematics teacher in 1988 and steadily advanced into senior academic leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University, with a focus on Administrative Planning and Social Policy, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Political Science from Case Western Reserve University. In 2016, she founded AMSI Voices, a CSR initiative connecting alumni with current students through mentorship and leadership development programs. The initiative has hosted six student-led conferences and regular workshops under the “Monday 101s” series. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, she led the development of “Al Mawakeb Distance Learning,” a holistic digital learning experience focused on accessibility and student well-being. In recognition of her contributions to education, she received the UAE Arab Woman Award for Education in 2020 and frequently serves as a keynote speaker at academic conferences.
