Shatha Abbas has one goal in everything that she does: help people she interacts with to reach their full potential and work tirelessly on any cause that ultimately helps transform someone’s life. Kuwaiti by birth, Shatha grew up in the United States, before marrying an Omani and moving to Muscat, Oman where this mother of four children currently resides. A deep connection and love for the community she lives in is what drives Shatha to make every hour in her day count.

She is a founding member of Dar al Atta’a, a charity organization set up in Oman in 2002 dedicated to helping families in need across the Sultanate. The same year, Shatha also embarked upon her entrepreneurial journey developing businesses ranging from event management to children’s educational play areas to now running a successful men’s and women’s beauty services company and owning a leading luxury firm that promotes frankincense. She continues to be involved as a member of the Dar Al Atta’a Founders’ Board. Shatha is dedicatedly working with Oman’s local artisans to bring to the world a piece of the Sultanate through its handicrafts and natural resources, while empowering them with tools to become self-reliant.
